I actually have no idea how healthy my wiper blades are, I guess I'll find out once I start driving in snow and rain

Wouldn't hurt to pick up a set of extra blades. 18" is what Ranger's use. I run the Anco Profile blades or Contour blades.

odd little hack. everytime I bought wipers I bought one size larger until I found a size that didn't work. end result is my wipers now clear more of the insheild. I assume the factory picks a size based on availablilty, or cost or fit across multiple products, and they aren't always optimized to the windshield size.

anyway, long story short. my front wipers are 3 inches longer than factory, and rear is 2 inches larger.
